STAT BOOSTING
After you get fairly strong, and you have the Mega All materia from the Northern Cave, head to the sunken plane Gelnika. There are five different monsters (Unknown 1-3, Bad Rap, and Poodler) in here and each morphs into a different source. The Unknowns will come at you solo, and the Mega All will let you morph packs of Bad Raps and Poodlers in one strike (Use Demi3-All to lower their life enough to morph them). The max for each stat is 255.
LUCRECIAS WATERFALL
You need a green, black, or gold Chocobo or a submarine to reach the round lake on the southern half of the western continent. There's a cave behind the waterfall. Once you enter with Vincent in your party on Disc 2, you get a cutscene that explains a lot about Vincent's background.
Return to the cave after a few battles. Doing so, you'll get Vincent's level 4 limit break manual Chaos, and Vincent's ultimate weapon Death Penalty.
TIFAS PIANO AND FINAL HEAVEN
In order to get Tifas fourth limit break you need to go to Nibelheim on the 2nd or 3rd disc and enter the correct code for Tifas piano.

Note: Tifa must be in the party, otherwise you will get elemental materia instead of Final heaven
NIBELHEIM MANSION SAFE
The Nibelheim mansion is located to the north of the town. 
Inside the mansion you will find a safe. In order to open the safe you will need to enter this code in the time provided: "Dial 1: Right 36, Dial 2: Left 10, Dial 3: Right 59. Dial 4: Right 97". Opening the safe you will fight a boss monster which is reasonably easy to defeat. After the battle you will acquire a key (Needed for the secret character Vincent Valentine) and Cosmo Memory (Which is the level 4 limit break for Red XIII).
